Explore Engineering provides an opportunity for students to explore different fields of engineering around a central theme through a variety of engaging, hands-on activities. This is a non-residential week long full day program designed specifically for students who have just completed the 7th or 8th grade (are entering 8th or 9th grade in the 2018-2019 academic year).
Eligibility and Application
All students entering the 8th or 9th grade during the 2018-2019 school year are eligible to apply. Students are selected based on quality of application materials and space available in the chosen location.
This year’s theme is “Mission to Mars.” Students will identify some issues involved in settling another planet and design, build, and test their ideas for overcoming these challenges.
