FIRST® LEGO® League Explore
Explore robotics engineering with hands-on activities during a week-long, half day program designed specifically for students who are currently in 1rd through 4th grades. Students will participate in a weeklong FIRST ® LEGO ® League Explore program, from design to demostration.
Please note: The FIRST® LEGO® League Explore camp activities require that students are able to read and understand written instructions and conduct basic online research. Please keep your child’s reading level in mind when deciding to apply.

Camp Dates and Times
Location: University of Arkansas, Fayetteville
Program Fee: $300
Dates: July 29-August 2, 2024
Session A: 8:30am to 11:30am
(Drop-Off 8-8:30 AM; Pick-Up 11:30 AM-12 PM)
Session B: 1:00pm to 4:00pm
(Drop-Off 12:30-1 PM; Pick-Up 4-4:30 PM)
Eligibility and Application
Students currently in 1st through 4th grade (entering 2nd through 5th grades during the 2024-2025) school year) are eligible to apply. Students will be accepted in the order they are registered.
Please note: The FIRST® LEGO® League, Jr. camp activities require that students are able to read and understand written instructions and conduct basic online research. Please keep your child’s reading level in mind when deciding to apply.
The program fee covers snacks, a t-shirt, insurance, and other camp related expenses. Lunch is not provided.
Program fees are due upon registration for the program. Scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of a number of sponsors. Please note your interest in scholarships on the application.
The FIRST ® LEGO ® League Explore camps are coordinated by Dr. Richard Cassady and Mrs. Rachel Stubbs. Dr. Cassady is a University Professor of Industrial Engineering at the University of Arkansas. Mrs. Stubbs is a teacher at Bernice Young Elementary School in Springdale, Arkansas
