Girls Who Code
The 7-week summer program teaches 9th–11th grade girls the computer science skills they need to make an impact in their community, while preparing for a career in tech.
Ages: 9th-11th grade students who identify as female regardless of gender assignment at birth
Dates: June 8 - July 24, application deadline is March 13
Location: David Glass Technology Center, Bentonville
Cost: FREE, each participant will be given a grant of $250 to assist with transportation and may apply for a stipend of up to an additional $1,200

Camp Connect is a summer day camp for children ages 5-12. The purpose of Camp Connect is for children with autism to have fun while connecting with other children who may or may not have autism. Children with ASD are paired with peer mentors with similar interests and of similar age and are supported by University of Arkansas students.
Session 1: July 13-16, Leverett Elementary, Ages 5-8
Session 2: July 20-23, Leverett Elementary, Ages 9-12
Session 3: July 28-21, Crystal Bridges, Ages 9-12

S.H.E. Can STEAM Summer Camp
Women and minorities remain underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) fields. The S.H.E. Can STEAM Summer Camp aims to empower our Soaring High Explorers to seek out and succeed in STEAM fields. Through a series of activities, explorers will have the opportunity to learn to fly, explore careers, dive into STEAM and build confidence.
Ages: 6th-8th grade students with a passion for learning and aviation
Location: Har-Ber High School, Springdale, AR
Dates: Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 17
Applications for the camp will open on March 1, 2020 and will be accepted through April 30, 2020. Explorers selected for the camp will be notified by May 15, 2020.
